Start11 has its own replacement for the default Windows Start search. This is controlled with an On/Off option

Search Operations

When there Start11 search is turned on, additional search related options will be available here

Show search results filtering icons - On/Off
- This option turns on/off the quick filtering by type option
Search file contents as well as names - On/Off
- This will search inside of text documents for your results
Search for shortcuts on the desktop and in Fences
- This will allow searching on the Desktop and Fences if installed
Show Microsoft Edge open tabs in search
- This feature will search the titles of open explorer tabs
