At first launch, Multiplicity 4 will display the following Welcome screens:
Welcome to Multiplicity
(1) If setting up the primary computer, select this option. This will designate the computer to control the secondary computer on the network.
The primary computer will then require activation through the following prompt:
(2) If setting up a secondary computer, select the corresponding option.
This will then advance to the security settingsMultiplicity security settingswelcome screen for the secondary computer.
(3) The “quick start guide” button links to support documentation for Multiplicity 4.
Seamless grid choice
Once a seamless grid choice is made, the primary computer will proceed to the security settings welcome screen.
Security settings (Change encryption password/key)
Here, the encryption key can be changed here to match both primary and secondary computers.
Once the Welcome prompts are finished, the following advice pop ups will appear normally. These settings and configurations can be changed at any time.
The default tab when Multiplicity 4 is opened on the primary computer will be the Seamless connections tab, where seamless connections can be added and configured.
On the primary computer, the left side column contains the following menu tabs:
On the secondary computer, the left side column contains the following menu tabs:
On both primary and secondary computers for all menu tabs, two buttons are present underneath the left side column:
(1) Primary computer/Secondary computer toggle
When this toggle is clicked, a prompt will ask if you would like to switch the current computer from being the primary or a secondary computer.
(2) Unlocked settings/Locked settings toggle
When this button is clicked, a prompt will ask if you would like to lock your Multiplicity settings from being changed (requires Administrator rights to lock or unlock)
