Multiplicity Hotkeys

Hotkeys have been re-engineered for Multiplicity 3.  The Primary addition was to allow for exact cursor placement, on any Seamless Multiplicity computer, and on any Monitor, Primary or Secondary.

Add hotkey

Clicking the Add hokey button will bring up the following menu.

Hotkey to press

• Keyboard shortcut: You can record a combination of keys (Ctrl + 2 for example)

• Mouse button 4 \ 5: If you have additional mouse buttons (usually on the side of a mouse), you can map the Hotkey to them.

Switch to this computer

Select the Primary, computer to the left or right, or pick a computer by name.

Position the mouse cursor at

The box shown represents the entire desktop area of the 'Switch to' destination location.  For example, if the destination is a Secondary, with two monitors connected to it horizontally from left to right, then consider the box split in half.  The left half would be the first monitor; the right would be the second.

Do not alter mouse position

When unchecked, this will allow you to click and drag in the box to specify where the cursor should appear when the hotkey is pressed. You can also use the boxes on the right to specify the coordinates by number. A blue dot will represent the position that the cursor will appear.

Disable hotkey

Clicking this will disable the selected hotkey. This will cause the hotkey to appear grayed out in the list of hotkeys.

Edit

When a hotkey from the list is selected and this button is clicked, the settings for the hotkey will be brought up for editing. This can also be accomplished by double-clicking directly on the desired hotkey in the list. 

Delete

To delete a hotkey, select it from the list and then click the 'Delete' button.

Disable all hotkeys

Checking this box will disable all hotkeys that have been created.
