Presets

Presets are used to save multiple Multiplicity Primary grid layouts for alternate Secondary configurations.  A Preset could be created to manage a 'Home' Multiplicity network while another Preset could define a 'Work' configuration.  Presets are especially useful when laptops are used as Multiplicity Primary computers in a network which are frequently moved between environments.

Use the + and - icons to add and remove presets.

Set Up Grid Size

Click the gear icon in the lower right of the Multiplicity grid to change the grid layout height and width.

Remove a Secondary

Hovering over a Secondary will reveal the option to remove it.  This can also be accomplished by a left click and dragging the Secondary to the right sidebar.

By clicking the remove icon while on the right sidebar will remove the Secondary entirely.

Configure computer

Click the gear icon next to the Secondary to configure it (hover over it to make it visible).

From the configure window, the Passcode and Display name can be changed.

Always use…

The ‘Always use the IP address' option will force Multiplicity to use the IP address of the Secondary instead of the machine name.

Enable Wake-on-LAN Support

If the Secondary PC supports it, you can enable this option to wake the Secondary PC from a sleep state.

Alignment Settings

Click the gear icon next to the Secondary to change the alignment settings (hover over it to make it visible):

The alignment setting determines the cursor exit and entry points on a monitor when traversing to and from that Multiplicity computer.
