Anyone with an active Fences subscription can start using Fences 5 with their Fences Annual Subscription key.
If I have a prior version of Fences with 5 activations/PCs (Multi-Device) will my Fences 5 purchase retain this number of activations?
Not inherently. The upgrade process on the Fences 5 store page, where you supply your email and it checks to see that you have a prior version of Fences, only applies to the discounts offered for Fences - it does not take into account how many activations you had on any prior version of Fence. The process of checking if you qualify for the upgrade only checks that you own a qualifying product.
Thus, it's up to the client to choose the correct Fences 5 product when upgrading, the Single or 5-Pack.
At this time (4/26/2024) only Fences Subscriptions are offered the discounted upgrade.
