Bugs/Issues
Occasionally a players custom candidate will use the wrong profile icon:
Diving closer into the files it seems that 2 pictures were combined!
Player Fixed: Managed to fix it with a simple description update, then reverting it back to the original to "refresh" it
Players have reported that the game will crash on the main menu if a controller is plugged in. (Unconfirmed)
Gameplay
Players want both themselves and A.I to be able to choose
Issue with masochist difficulty:
Masochist difficulty (especially high pc cost decks independents deck are notorious for this) where they don't play any endorsements whatsoever because they're too busy playing high pc cards and you can just knowledge check the ai HARD on endorsements and don't get a competitive game if you full stack on networking lounges or pc gain which is too meta encompassing
it needs more political capital if i'm playing masochist otherwise most people just do networking lounges, endorsemetns, far too easy unfortunately, and the map can't hope to catch up, ai will make bad decisions if it's playing with bad issue scores, so it can't salvage that arena so if you could get that back, i could be playtesting the game more and figuring out some more fun single player balance, or enjoy the game as it was before the endorsements made the AI too easy, that would be great, since the game needs that higher difficulty if it's to have good longevity
Players, especially new players do not understand the ad/speech screen
Custom candidates feel like they are never chosen as running mates
QOL
For custom candidates it would be nice to have a 'clone candidate preset' option , but only from existing base game candidates that way you know it's balanced
Feature request: a replay/rewind option that displays how the previous turn played out.
Consider having a filter to organize issue scores in alphabetical order in candidate creation list, or a search bar
Community
Players do want new/more head shapes and customization parts.
Ways to upsize eyes/mouth pieces more than the max limit, that'd be nice, since they're far too small to make some heads usable due to scaling issues.
Just unlocking the max scale for eyes/mouths alone on some areas would be a BIG lifesaver, and make it easier to create candidates, and go a long way. since there are some candidates in the default base game that have eye/mouth sizes that are impossible to recreate in the custom candidate creator, and it's the decision between whether you can make some bobbleheads or proportions work or not.
Highest Voted Suggestions
Final percentage results for each candidate in a state should be provided, as this installments final polling figures sometimes do not reflect the outcome in that state.
add a search feature to find a specific issue
have your ai candidates choose based on you choosing for them. I’m tired of doing a simulation of let’s say Cruz vs Sanders and they choose Shrek and Eisenhower as their running mates. Thanks!
We should have preset issues for saving time. Like for example if you don’t have time to set all issues, just select the overall preset that matches your preferences best like maybe, Moderate Republican, Socialist Democrat, or maybe even a fun one like Anarchism. It would save time.
Players feel like the current “Mod” system is misleading, these are custom candidates, not mods in the traditional sense, and they don’t feel like they have access to mods otherwise.
External example: SoulCalibur 6 allows custom character creation, and those characters can be shared online. These are not called mods, they are called custom characters.

Complaints
Feels like Census data is out of date
Doesn’t include up to date events, or trends.
Specifically more on current political mishaps. Congressmen/women have been insulting each other, The TikTok ban debate, the growing concern with the age of politicians to represent the country, the involvement of Elon, celebrity endorsements
Picking a V.P does not feel valuable enough, no substantial benefit
Consider giving characters passive abilities as V.Ps
Not enough 3rd Party Candidates
Game feels less like a sophisticated simulator
Want more out of no card mode
Even though some players are noticing the emergence of third party decks, it’s overshadowed by the fact the game asks you to specifically choose democrat or republican at the beginning
There seems to be some frustration with both candidate and difficulty balancing.
Some players are saying the games higher difficulties feel too hard, and out right cheaty
Candidates like Reagan issue scores are incredibly weak, some community players did testing and found he underperforms other republicans by 80% (he’s losing most of his games in simulation mode)
No cards mode feels like it still misses the feeling of a “Classic Mode” That is a mode that more closely resembles previous games play style.
Would overall be more effective as a stand alone game mode in main menu called Classic mode, instead of a tick mark in the game menu. Utilizing the war room for limited buys of cheerleader, intimidator, spin doctor, smear merchant, etc…
Currently feels like a bare bones version of TPM without the operatives people are familiar with
In the starting screen/main menu, the candidate on the top platform looks out of place. As if hes looking in the wrong direction or there should be more people there. Maybe, it’s a spacing issue?
Suggestions
Allow players to set A.I difficulty in multiplayer
A.i vs A.i mode needs more speed or skip options for a faster showcase.
Consider limiting how many cards can be received from War Room per turn, it feels way too exploitable right now
Allow players to undo or delete HQs. Players can accidentally build wrong things affecting long term gameplay. The ability to delete or redo HQs while either losing invested resources or regaining only half resources feels like a balanced way to make the game more player friendly
Requests
Players want expanded modding capabilities, particularly the ability to make their own maps
Other modding requests have included the ability to create Scenarios, new cards, assign custom electoral values and more.
A campaign mode similar to 2004
Possibly with unlockable candidates
More third party candidates
In No Cards mode, you can't even build networking lounges to pursue endorsements. This would've made no cards mode similar to the older games
