We wanted to further refine issues rankings to better reflect today’s issues, ads, campaign event messages, and themes across the United States over the last month.

  • Increased issue ranking of Stop Illegal Immigration in Republican-leaning states

  • Added issue and increased ranking for Democracy in the U.S. across Democrat-leaning states

  • Lowered Importance of the following issues across states

    • Leave the UN

    • Public Education

    • Higher Minimum Wage

  • Increased Importance of Reducing Wealth Inequality to top 10 in following states

    • California

    • Colorado

    • Maine

  • Increased Importance of Addressing Climate Change and Environmental Protection in following states

AI and Masochistic Difficulty changes

We wanted make sure that AI was making better decisions of what states they conducted actions at while making sure that our more experienced players get their sense of challenge.

  • Reverted nerfs done on Masochistic level AI

  • Improved AI state action decision making

Building Balance Changes

We realized that our Enthusiasm nerf across the board was harsh but wanted to further incentivize HQs as some of the most consistent boosts in enthusiasm.

Increased all Headquarters in-state Enthusiasm gain by 3%

Candidate Balance Changes

We wanted to fix our Intelligence spread so it was better kept balanced and unbiased.

Endorsement Balance Changes

We realize that United Labor was not as an impactful of an endorsement as one of the highest-costing Endorsements. We decided to replace this endorsement with more prominent issues instead.

  • Removed United Labor Endorsement

  • Added and replaced with Body and Mind Autonomy, a pro Abortion and Mental Health Services Expansion Endorsement

Minor Adjustments

  • Removed Description Box under Political Strategy Map

  • Renamed “Mods” to “Custom Candidates” on the title screen
